we give brandon knight and khris middleton for jennings. singler were better prospect that time. imagine that we gave singler instead of middleton.

Then we could be the team that was stuck with his 70M contract.

Good needed win Pistons. Happy New Years to everyone from the great state of Texas too! 8-)

My bad for the late response:

Bad lost tonight against the weak ass Knicks. If KCP keeps playing inconsistent ball we'll see him playing 6th-man soon and Jennings will return as our starting 1, remember I said that.

I saw no post throughout the game and I thought you were a real Jennings fans, jk. Anyways that last statement would be interesting. Kentavious might be able to handle 25 minutes per game well with his style of play

Shoot, man one of these days I'm going to in-game post again. Folks always busy though man.

KCP is my guy, but I've been saying KCP was sixth-man material. It's crazy folks are just starting to see it. :-?

Looks like Drummond responded well to SVG calling him out for his lack of focus.

I kind of wish we still had someone like Caron Butler around, a true veteran. I know Joel and Baynes and Meeks but, Caron seemed like a solid dude.

Keep the young guys focused like against the Knicks.

Defenses still rapidly close out on KCP from all of those clips from that video. Which is a good sign since he got his defense to bite of the fake for a drive. That has never happened with KCP from year 1 and rarely year 2.

Does nobody realize you can sag off your man if the offense is playing from the strongside? That's exactly what is happening there.

Heck I can show you clips of Curry so called "sagging off" on JR Smith during the Christmas game but just enough to recover if the ball is swung that way. That's just how NBA defenses are played now. Everyone adapts this hybrid zone movement when it comes to defense.

Maybe outside of the Rockets defense the rest of the NBA all sag off known shooters minus shooters that shoot above 42%.

Having said all that, I wish Stan's offense involved more cutting and player movement instead of everyone just sitting around in weird places and not helping Reggie by cutting or moving around to get open. It's literally just 4 players standing outside the arc and Reggie is nowhere near a great shooter to warrant not helping off to contain the drive. Defenses would rather contain Reggie on most nights and dare him to shoot rather than having our guys cut or curl around screens to get open.

That play at 3:20 really makes Jennings' playmaking that much better than Reggie. Reggie is always looking for the lob or drop off pass rather than swing passes Jennings is way better at. Reggie needs to learn that from Brandon.

Agreed. Not sure if Butler would want to come as a 3rd string small forward tho
