Drummond cant shoot free throws and doesnt do enough to protect the rim. Frankly , he is an offensive and defensive liability and if he doesnt rebound, his impact on the game will be worse than an average center.

Somebody help me out, I can't keep up. Whose alter ego is this?

Pistons are 13-1 when shooting better than 35% from 3 as a team.

5-15 when shooting less than 35%.

To put that in perspective, 20 teams average ~35% from 3 on the season. So we're not even talking elite shooting. That is basically average shooting. That is this teams problem and solution in my opinion. When we make our 3s, Reggie and Dre dominate the paint and we win. When we don't, teams pack the paint and Reggie and Dre can't score and we lose. We just need better shooters around them. I think it really is that simple and needs to be the main goal of all trades, FA, and draft from now on. This system just doesn't work w/o it. Can't have a team built around 2 primary paint scorers and put no shooters around them and expect to win consistently.

It will be nice when Meeks comes back. He is certainly not the answer to all our 3pt problems but will be a big help.

Wow, what a game! Marcus is starting to become my favorite Piston next to Dre and Jennings. He should have swung on George for trying to steal the ball at the end of the game.

Hopefully, Reggie gets healthy soon. That ankle sprain looked painful. This is a good opportunity for Jennings to get major playing time again, good luck man. 8-)

Shout out to @313 Professor!

We need a huge talent upgrade at every position other than PG/C. Morris and Ily are solid but they're rotation players ideally.

Not gonna lie. I'm very disappointed with the Pistons tonight. They're better than this. They need more talent. A starting PF. Hopefully when Meeks comes back, he can help. SVG knows what to do. I trust him

We are losing games bc Dre and Rj are sucking and you keep talking about supporting cast. Bla Bla Bla.

It's still early, but Jennings has made comments that he is fine with the role. The greatest opponent to that notion, are the fans. They'll be the ones to question... and re-question players' roles after every(other) game. Of course, media loves controversy as well.

I'm sure whatever problems may arise, that SVG & Bower will be manning phones to find Brandon a new home by the trade deadline... if he indeed remains healthy.

Stanley Johnson had a really nice game facilitating. He seems to get the chance to do this when he's playing with mostly guys from the second unit. When he's with the first unit guys he mostly goes stand in the corners. He only was given credit for two assists, but the two feeds to Baynes along with the great inbounds pass to KCP were all very nice. It's something the team will eventually have to learn how to better utilize.

About the only thing i criticize about SVG is his rotations. Last night the loss is on RJ and on SVG.

1.) He should have left jennings in there. 3 times jennings entered teh game down, and subbed out with the lead or reduced deficit. Our team was clearly playing better with him on the court

2.) SJ was making plays on and off ball and on the glass. It may of been defensive miscues that we don't see, but at times i think SVG pulls SJ out when he's rolling. Feed the hot hand, don't throw it in the cooler

3.) RJ came down 4 or 5 straight times at the end and basically tried to be match PG. I don't mind the first shot and maybe not even the 2nd shot, but he absolutely ignored wide open players to hoist. That is not winning basketball.

We lost last nights game becuase we let down defensively in the 4th. PG is a beast, but he also got open shots that he wasn't getting in the first 3 quarters. Defense is a team responsibility, as a team we failed.
