There's a rumor that Monroe, Bayless and a 2018 1st rounder is going to Charlotte for Kemba and Kaminsky but it's probably 99.9% bunk.

That sounds pretty bad for the Hornets. If I'm taking on that contract and giving them Kemba, Kaminsky I woul want that pick to be this year at least

totally missed that, ya should be the 2016 pick. Monroe's contract isn't bad.

I wouldn't want him for that kind of money as my starting Center. I just don't view him as a player you can win with in today's league.

if we didn't have dre, he's more than likely be our starting center. He's a offensively skilled low post big man that plays decent defense in the low post. Bucks can find some team to take him, that contracts only for 2 more season's also with a huge cap coming

Didn't Charlotte turn down multiple picks from Boston on draft night, in order to stay put and get Kaminsky?

To be honest MCW has flaws but he could be that defense PG off the bench for us. If the price is right we should go after him.

I'll gladly take Monroe back in a Piston uniform if he accepts a 6th-man role.

Doesn't he hate us? Lol

Lol, yeah you might be right. Boston might be a good fit.

Yeah, I thought it was some kind of ridiculous return along those lines.

That being the case, I sincerely doubt Charlotte gives Kaminsky + Kemba (probably their best player), for that kind of return from Milwaukee.

You don't win with guys like Monroe, Jefferson, Kanter, etc.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

that was a poor decision by Monroe in the first place. As much as i respect his bball IQ, i was very suprised by his choice to go to Milwaukee.

the Knicks would have been perfect with him. Imagine him next to Porzingis and Melo?

As far as Milwaukee... yeah they proved their idiocy when they were a playoff team and they decided to trade their best player that made everything tick in Knight. He made their defense and offense tick, but they got rid of him
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

Hammond the brains behind Joe D's front office?... pretty much puts that to rest.
