In other words he should be penetrating and passing to KCP/Morris/Ersan for 3s, as opposed to them penetrating and passing to him for 3s. That's playing to guys strengths instead of weaknesses. But that isn't realistic Reggie can't have the ball in hands more he already has a high usg% hes gonna has to play off the ball sometime. Plus him having the ball more would just make the offense even more predictable than it already is.
To clarify, when I say he needs the ball more I'm talking in comparison to the last few weeks, where his usg% has decreased from ~30% in oct-dec to 26% in jan. I think he might need the ball more to get his rhythm.
If trying to determine why he hasn't played as good the last few weeks, that's one of the main differences that might be the cause.
When he's been at his best at the end of last year and oct-dec this year, his usage was 29.3% & 29.5% respectively. That seems to be the optimal rate for him and 26% might be too low.
