Idk, Pop has never been maker status, though i did note that her opinions for the most part haven't panned out to her side of the argument, like MCW for instance or of course the love for Moose. I do think she's still active just lurking on our board more.

um maybe, but that could have very well been me or CGC early on in the draft process. I was pretty high.....................on oubre.

I liked Oubre as well. He was one of the four guys I wanted with our pick.

Fwiw Oubre had his struggles with work ethic at KU but was being praised by the coaching staff towards the end of the year. I think the most likely scenario is that he and SJ both end up similar style wise but SJ does it much better.

as soon as he fills out and if he can get his head on straight. He's going to be one hell of a player. His ceiling could be a DRIVEN Rudy Gay, which is scary, though his mentality doesn't scream instant star.

I get that this thread became relevant to bump, but throwing stones at POP for posting something when the thread was current and live is pretty damn bush league.

I personally think POP is one of the best posters on this board, and one of my favorites actually. Too many posters these days post on pure emotion. They also choose to attack any idea they don't agree with, instead of debating about it.

Ditto. Never a bad thing to have a couple of realist anti-homers to balance the the optimism on a board.

I personally was bashing Reggie quite a bit during our 10 game losing streak and when he got completely outplayed and out-hustled by Dinwiddie. Posts which look really (and some of which got a bunch of and 1s lol) foolish overreactions. As you said, every poster says something that would look silly in retrospect at some point.

I wasn't bashing. IMO I was telling the truth. PoP was around a lot last year when they were losing and was usually a pessimist pretty bad one too. Now we started to win not nearly around as much. Might just be a coincidence, but a weird one. There's a few posters who where around a lot last year and always were pessimist start winning they gone.

Very excited Harris has found his way to Detroit, masterful GM work by SVG & Bower. Rebuilding by making opportunistic and smart trades is the way to go. Free Agency is a crap shoot and everyone tries to rebuild through the draft. This is the way to go for the Pistons and i think Harris will fit in perfectly.
