Come on now LP, you should join in on the fun/craziness lol
We're a pretty decent bunch over here
Lol. Im a nerd, and try to keep up on what teams closely related to my Hornets are doing. I also like this board, unlike some of the boards on realGM that are just ridiculous.
My list of boards personalities;
Knicks-Typical dumb jock. Poor basketball knowledge, think basketball universe revolves around them, when they haven't Been relevant since the 70's. Fun to visit for some of the dumbest trades on realgm.
Raptors-teenagers. Obsessed with tags, and signatures, and filled with self loathing. Love visiting that board, to read all the complaints about players they could have drafted, but didnt. Drummond has been a constant source of amusement for me. Obsessed with tanks, and tank commanders.
Boston-Homers. Holy crap this board both amuses me, and angers me. Every player they have is a future superstar, and if you say the wrong thing, you will get a suspension, or ban. Marcus smart has the same value as Noel apparently. Lmao. Your team never actually beats the celtics, the Celtics gave the game away. HOMERS.
Miami-Jilted lover/realistic. That place is like a revolving door for superstars, and since it is a newer team, thier fanbase knows what pure suckage is from expansion. Never can seem to hold on to anyone, even though the team is successful. Pretty knowledgeable fanbase.
Orlando-Young adults. Like a big brother of the raptors. Smart fanbase, but the winds of change seem constant there, and it effects how the fans view thier team. No outlandish hopes of really competing, just seemingly focused on players, rather then the team. Lots of talk of players. Fun to read.
Chicago-Boring angry guy at work.obsessed with thier own players, and managment. Angry, mean fanbase, always ready for a fight seemingly. Surly bunch. Big board, but rarely visit, as everything seems internally focused, no outside discussion of other teams, or players.
Philadelphia-Hopeless. Really love prospects, and players. Open to discussion. Good read at times.

Man, I've been posting here, albeit somewhat sporadically(losing, and losing alot, along with an upswing in my career)for 12 damn years. *sigh* the memories.
Ive been posting here on and off for 10,
bounced back and forth between here, official pistons message board and WTFdetroit (is that still around?)

Few people realize that Nasty Daddy was genuine artificial intelligence that became self aware for the sole purpose of bringing this board EVERYTHING NBA. Once attacked, he moved on to other things... like the destruction of mankind.

I modded a 3rd rate nba board with Cowology before he went bigtime
The memories
oh sh* Irony brought his resume.....,haha, its cool to see our posters have various connections outside of RealGM. Next time i am in Detroit, i hope to set some kind of Meeting, Manocads got first round, and i have that bookmarked
Manocad's one of the coolest people to hang with from RealGM. And, he is a class act . . . in person, LOL! Be prepared to get hammered.
