Since the All-Star break, Seth has averaged 11 points on 50% shooting, 50% from 3-point range, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists per game. In April, those numbers have jumped higher as he's averaged 17 points on 53% shooting, 57% from three, and 5 assists per game over six contests.

20 points, 15 assists, 2 turnovers last night in a win as starting point guard.

Go for it Stan,if he's going to put it all together, this team and Stan would be his best chance. He looks like Jennings but a better shooter,if his defense is as advertised, then he should be the perfect backup with potential to improve.

Karl's comment and motivation for putting him in the starting lineup (and listening to Kings fans talk about him) suggests to me that his defense is at least AVERAGE. Who knows though, Seth did defend his older brother Steph his entire life growing up. Keep in mind, a reason for his improvement could also be that he is.. in.. communication with Steph, still, and learning what his older brother has learned about the NBA, who at one point was also never supposed to play in the NBA.

His inner determination could also be unique considering that he remembers learning the game of basketball from two good NBA players, his Dad and brother, who has become the best basketball player in the world. Seth probably thinks he is just as good. I doubt it. lol

But hell half of Steph is a GREAT backup PG/SG for the Pistons!

Agree. A poor man's Steph would make a great 6th man.

He reminds me of Mike Bibby a little bit too, whose game I always liked.

The big question is will some GM offer him starters money and a starting job thinking he's the next Steph?

If so we can't compete with that, and with Knicks needing a PG and still upset about not getting Steph in the draft, I wouldn't doubt Dolan there.

Honestly, that is what I predict happens. No one will think he is going to be the next Steph but 12-18ppg, 2-6apg shooting 40-45% from 3 is the idea. Half the league is going to be interested in him and 2 or 3 teams will want him as a starter. I can imagine New York, Minnesota, Sacramento, Dallas, Utah, Indiana, or Philadelphia convincing themselves, depending on what happens to current rosters.

Funny. He had nobody's attention the past 2 seasons besides NBA callups and numerous summer leagues. I remember last summer in Summer League they just called him just a defensless streaky shooter. But, those 15 assists does give him at least Will Bynum cred.

Prefer Lin and his better defense, but Curry would still be a solid pickup, and his style fits the team better. Both can run the P&R, but Lin is a penetrator while Curry is more of a shooter.

Of course, Lin is in a pretty good situation and may want to stay, while Curry probably wants out of Sacramento.
