Yes, Morris, Ilyasova, and Reggie are all either in their prime or on the cusp of it, but AD and KCP will enter the season at the ripe old age of 22, and SJ just turned 19. The core of this team is still quite young. I see Johnson as the wild card in this prediction. If SJ puts himself in the ROY discussion, the team could make a very positive bump in winning %.

i dont consider KCP and Johnson to be major factors to whether we win or not, thats why i say that. One will probably be the fifth option in the starting lineup and the other a rookie off the bench. And Drummond may be young but he produces like an eight year vet, able to play with just about any big regardless of age. Jackson, Dre, Ersan, Morris, Jennings if healthy, Meeks, Baynes etc are the guys likely to be the ones leading us victory or not and all are right in their primes or just entering it. KCP and Johnson only need to pitch in here and there around them.

I disagree with KCP not being a major factor. KCP was our volume 3pt shooter, best transition player, and best perimeter defender if he improves he would be a very value piece. It's a reason Demarre Carroll, Wes Matthews, and Danny Green got paid and were highly sought after this off season.

I agree with all those things about KCP, but that still just signifies a 3&D role player. All those name mentioned are really good but none were the main reasons their teams succeeded or not. Thats all I meant. KCP will be a factor just not the main factor, so I dont think his age will be an issue. The majority of our rotation will be experienced guys, and every rotation has at least a couple younger players and it doesnt prevent their teams from winning.

I think some of those threes from KCP will be spread around a little more to the new guys next year too, so we probably wont need to rely on him as much offensively. We will probably get a more efficient KCP too because of it. Morris and Ilyasova figure to be the first options off the Drummond and Reggie pick and roll, then KCP fills in whatever is leftover. Less looks but more efficient. His defense will still be a big factor, but everyone will need to defend and he is only one of five, so that wont be all on him either.

This team is still young dont get me wrong, but a young team that is ready to win now and capable in my opinion.

43 wins

I think the east will end up like this

1. Cleveland
2. Chicago
3. Atlanta
4. Washington
5. Miami
6. Milwaukee
7. Boston
8. Detroit

Orlando and Charlotte should be a lot better as well and will contend for a 7th-8th playoff spot.

Yeah, some of those fans, are outright delusional. I think Brooklyn will struggle to hit 25, let alone the 30-34 they think.

Toronto is an interesting team. They lost thier best rim protector, and do it all guy in amir, and replacing him is going to be tougher then they think.

Boston? Let's see what a team full of PF'S can do I guess...

Milwaukee fans are really in for a rude awakening on both ends of the floor, with Monroe starting to begin the season. Maybe they can make it work, but good luck with that.

Only three months left!
