Yeah it's actually baffling how bad Drummond is at FT shooting. You'd think since he does it so many times that it would start getting better. It's a mental thing, he's still growing up

I think this is part of it, but more importantly, games are becoming unwatchable. Hack-a-Shaq makes them unbearable. Silver had to do something.
Of course, you are right Lip. I am just trying to be realistic about WHY the rule will actually be changed.

The average joe on the street would be better at free throws in front of a crowd by now than Drummond with the amount of practice time he probably puts in.
I'd say there's no reason why he shouldn't improve as his career goes on, but there's NO reason he shouldn't have improved already! I think SVG is right when he says its psychological.
