The Goal has always been to end the LBJ run just like the Bad Boys who ended Bird/Magic and was the last team to beat MJ in the ECF.

so when does Lebron slow down? If his career ends up being similar to Kobe Bryant (both out of HS superstars with crazy athleticism) then he will be great until about 34/35. That is a ways away. The question is can the Cav's continue to keep a great team around him?

It's not like he was going to play anywhere else and it's not like he was going to retire in the next three years so it doesn't change anything.
