Only fan trades that kinda make sense involve KCP & Harris

So no to a Ross like move I guess. Guess SVG knows what he's doing. Baynes will leave next summer and Boban will be ready to take over. KCP will sign and we will renounce Bullock I guess. Or replace him with a minimum player or draft pick.
Kinda sux
Should never plan on a man of his size taking over any kind of regular or consistent role without getting injured. It would be nearly unprecedented.

Which is why we've got Jon & King as well.

If Boban was a starter I'd agree with you but when our best player is going to play heavy minutes at the same position, I see no issue with relying on Boban for 16-18mpg.
Boban is the superior player to Baynes in virtually every aspect and where he's not he's at least equal. While he's a sophomore by NBA standards he's been playing professionally for a long time so the wait and acclimate approach is a poor choice IMO.

Exactly. Even if Marjanovic wasn't brought in this summer Baynes wasn't going to be seeing the same minutes he did last season. Leuer will absolutely get a decent chunk of minutes as a stretch five to either match up with opposing teams or just give Detroit's offense a different look at time. If Ellenson gets on the court, which I doubt, he will likely play some center too. So going forward the Pistons don't have to and won't rely on Boban playing a regular 16-18 minute role.
