Who knows if it actually works. Tendons/ligaments are one of the more trickier things in repair in our bodies.

He got the same treatment done in 2011 and it lasted him about 5 years sooo

He was far younger then and even far less miles on his knees then too.

PRP has been touted as a miracle cure for various "-itis" type ailments and surprisingly they don't have many success stories as there should be. Short, medium, and long term benefits have yet to be completely proven on a large scale basis.

IMO he might be okay in the short term but long term the jury is way out.

Pretty nice article outlining Jackson's prominence running the PnR last season. Going from him to Smith will be a... massive downgrade in that regard. Massive probably isn't even a strong enough word. I am excited to see the offense diversified though. That was supposed to happen with Jackson anyways so at least it's not something totally unprepared for.

I have always been a "glass half full" type of guy so to me this is a blessing in disguise.

We all know that the Pistons offense was absolutely to reliant on Jackson so this will be a great time to start to diversify the offense. Short term it may hurt the overall record(Im not convinced on that) but long term it will help the teams overall game.

I've been watching some tape (aka highlights) of Ish Smith and his game reminds me of Brandon Jennings. They are both similar sized guards who play with good pace and are crafty ball handlers/passers. On the flip side, he seems very streaky game to game...one night puts up 20 pts next night 5 pts on 3-15 shooting...similar to Jennings. The main difference between the two is 3pt shooting, as Jennings is much better career shooter (35% vs 30%).

I'm a little worried with Ish as our starting point guard. It'll be interesting to see who else on our team picks up the scoring slack. Will it be one/two guys or a team effort. I'd guess Tobias and Drummond are the two guys.

We need to run more PnR with Harris and Drummond with Jackson out. I liked what I saw from that last season in small doses.

Harris/Dre PnR
Mook/Dre PnR
Mook/Harris PnR

ALL 3 options could be really interesting since we'd be putting their SF/PF/C into positions they're not used to.

99 times out of 100 teams run and defend PnR with a guard and a big...show them something they're not used to!

A step too slow by their defenders and Mook/Harris could get from the 3 point line to the elbow with ease!
