I don't see the Pelicans trading him even if he wants out. His contract just started and they would try to patch things with him over the next 5 years before dumping him. If he were available though there's really nothing I wouldn't give.

It's funny how you always read how "that's not enough" or "you can't get ______ for so little and a star is always traded for less then everyone thinks.

Rinse wash repeat.

I want davis, but not at the expense of Andre. I want both, and I'm sure Detroit could easily offer up a package to land him if both sides wanted to get it done.

Same ol' same ol'.

They wouldn't have any interest from us. Trading a MVP caliber player like Davis would probably want returns of #1 overall pick and multiple other 1st rounders. We have a really good young team but not exactly superstar potential players they would want by trying to get top picks.

It's been said several times in different ways, but Davis is under contract through the 2019/2020 season, with a player option for 2020/2021. There is zero incentive for New Orleans to trade him in 2016. Jru Holiday and Tyreke Evans both come off the books after this season. They have plenty of time and room to build around him. There is nothing Detroit can put together that should even cause New Orleans to answer the phone at this point.

This only happens when the player is a expiring or wanted out remember the Deron Williams trade?

I would prefer to pair Jackson and Davis but I would do it if that would get the deal done. SVG would make Anthony Davis even better
