In b2b we are awful. Coaching was awful as well.

they defend based on matchups. morris guards guys like lebron and melo while harris guards love and porzingis. yesterday morris guarded blake griffin while harris guarded mbah a moute.

i dunno if you noticed but on the starting lineup graphics ish is listed as PG, KCP is SG, andre is C and both morris and harris are listed simply as forwards without specifying SF or PF. i'm pretty sure that's based on what the team submits as their starting lineup.

I'm aware that the Pistons list them as forwards, however, they still play specific roles.

And those roles go far beyond traditional PF or SFs

I honestly can't wait until people stop viewing it as PG, SG, SF, PF & C. That's ancient history

We're a young team and Stan has spent money "solidifying" our bench. B2B should not be a problem for us.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Well, that wasn't too satisfying. Team needs to toughen up. They start getting road calls (the typical difference in allowed physicality between the road and home team) and they wilt. Of course, last night's level of shooting futility is hard on their morale. The fact that they had a total of 11 assists points to a failure of team play. I don't want to say too much about the defense. OKC not only set moving screens all night (got called on one?) but were holding and pushing regularly. Rather than play harder and accentuate what was going on the Pistons just quit. The better teams would have stepped it up and put some pressure on the refs. Both teams were on b2bs, and that's no excuse at all.

I couldn't spot what SJ did to get 2 minutes? He did get 2 DREB in that time, and didn't attempt a shot? Seemed to be hustling? I'm all the more curious as to what is going on between SJ and SVG. Not good.

"So, we had three major points: getting back defensively which we did not do; pulling in on the roll man because we knew the big guy had to stay in front of Westbrook, we did not pull into the roll man,; and block out and rebound, and we did not do that as well. So, we didn't take care of any of the areas that we were supposed to focus on. We made very little effort, and Oklahoma City played a whole lot harder than us and deserved to win."

um ya.........definitely did not do any of that

I know man. Why the hell is KCP guarding the Chris Pauls of the league when he is a freaking SG?!?!?!

Perhaps, SVG intends to ride the Starters hard to condition them for the end of the season and playoffs.

Drummond disappoints me, Obviously everyone sucked but I hold Dre to s higher level cause no one else is on his talent level or impacts the game the way he can. He's been playing good and we look like a force when he does but when he comes out with no effort like this again and let's Adams have his way with him we have no chance.
