his skill set is absolutely more suited to play PF than C but with his size he could play some center. if i were a betting man i'd say it's more likely that ellenson is a backup PF that plays C in some rare situations than be a full-time backup C that plays occasional PF.
i think he's further away from playing C than PF physically, either way he has to improve his mobility but at C he would need to be able to handle the physicality as well.
i'm definitely intrigued by a leuer/ellenson combo in a couple years when ellenson is ready. having two legit 7 footers that can put the ball on the floor and shoot could be a deadly mismatch vs. certain teams.
