When I started here, back in 2004, Pharoah was already a well established and respected mod on the Pistons forum. He's seen both the ups and downs of the board, so if he's handing out free advice it's probably with the intent of helping others avoid some of the pittfalls.

As for Todd, I will continue to defend his right to express his opinion regardless of how unpopular it may be. I would defend each of you with that same resolve.

People are free to engage him in a civil manner, skip over him or put him on ignore. What is not acceptable are personal attacks and that includes both direct insults as well as insulting characterizations. Attack the post, not the poster.

I hope this helps to clear up a few things. As the Pistons continue to grow in relevance so will the traffic on this board and it's important we adhere to the principles and characteristics that have helped to make this such an outstanding (and welcoming) community.

Now let's get back to talking about bball and not other posters. Thank you.
