Good win against ugly-ball/Rick Carlisle defense.

Once those floaters, and high angle glass shots start dropping a bit more, it's on. RJ creates separation pretty easily. So he usually warrants help, giving him options. He hasn't been sharp yet, but 4th quarter last night you could see it a bit when he started his drives, and 2-3 defenders had to help. He's getting closer to having his lungs/legs/rhythm. Start seeing some more big ol' explosive Andre ally oops too.
Will you fools ever realize that when the cameras are on and the microphones are hot, they are Lying to you! Lying to illicit a prescribed reaction, to easier manipulate you.

Useful idiots!

He's never going to "star" for anyone.

Goes to show what I know. I was thinking SJ played the role his coach wants pretty well last night. Oddly enough, it's the perfect role for the 20 YO. Defend like a bigger KCP, help move the ball, bang around in the paint, and only take the very best shots. He was talking the right talk after the game. Too early to give up on SJ IMO.

RJ in the 4th :droop:, just wish he wouldn't wait til the 4th to be that dominant

yeah thankfully he was doing well at the end, i thought he was having a pretty rough night before then. way too indecisive most times, i only saw a few plays where he made an immediate decision. what he did in the fourth is one of the reasons he's such a big part of the team though, you can just spread out the floor, put him in the pick and roll and he's so good getting to the paint and finishing.

the majority of his value stems from his 4th quarter performances , physical attribute and the potential he has in the PnR with his ability to create space. Literally all of that doesn't mean sh* if he can't make the right decisions, We saw this game the worst and best of RJ. While he is very much a reason why we went down, he also took it away when our bench got it back to even.

Whats ultimately encouraging is that we hadn't seen that reggie in enough minutes to this point, my fear is that we wouldn't. I think while physically he's back, i think mentally its taking him a while to get that confidence. What i really hate is "his swag" even the way he crosses over is way to exaggerated but can't hate when it gets the job done
