So let me get this straight:

People complain that Dre & RJ have no heart, no passion & no drive

And then trash SJ who has all the heart, passion & drive in the world?

WTF?

Stan drafted need rather than BPA. We had KCP and Meek at the 2-guard and bupkis at SF. Mook trade came along after the draft, and then we got Toby for peanuts.

Switch their landing spots and would Booker get off the bench here, or be in Stan's dog house for his shot selection and buried behind KCP and his defense? Would Stanley be flourishing under a green light to shoot and play his way without any handcuffs on a bad PHX team?

I love Booker, he's silky smooth shooter in a skill league. He could have a top 5 skill at that position in time, whereas I think Stan is more a grind/work guy than a skill guy.

Booker would probably be in the d league right now if Stan drafted him

The only 1st round pick that I knew at the time was a bad one was taking Mateen Cleaves with Grant Hill practically two steps out the door. Rookie PG, team trying to establish a new identity, local kid Mateen. Who could've seen that as too much pressure on one guy. Oh, yeah everyone. Not to mention it didn't seem like his game would fit in the NBA well.
