14% chance at 6, and roughly 20% for 7 or 8. Sounds reasonable.

according to this site the golden record to finish with the "secure" a playoff spot is 39-43. if we finish with 39 wins we have a 71% chance of making playoffs and if we finish with 38 wins we have a 46% chance.
