PF or SF?

Post#1 » by Canadafan » Sun Feb 19, 2017 10:43 pm

Which upgrade takes us a step closer to championship?
Let's imagine a fantasy world where we don't have to worry about the other 3 positions.
Upgrade Morris to a Paul George for example. Upgrade Leuer to a Milsap or aldridge.
What helps us more?

Whoever is the better player regardless of position helps us the most. To play along, I'd go with PF since I like the idea of starting Tobias at SF.

upgrading the two way potential of the SF is more important than the PF. I think Leuer is more of a two way player than Morris, but Morris is the more offensive player even tho. we have more overall potential at the SF with Johnson backing backing morris but that potential isnt realized yet. if and when we add that along with a true defender of the PG position this team will got to the next level.

Neither!

We have Jon, Mook, Harris & SJ - they're fine

PG is the position we need to upgrade

PG and backup SG.

possibly with a 3/4 x 2 to free some playing time.

Thinking beyond this season:

Drum 33 - Jon 15 with Bobo getting limited minutes due to him being match up specific

Jon 12 - Mook 26 - King 10 provides enough consistent playing time for all concerned

SJ 18 - Tobias 30 gives our best offensive weapon the minutes and touches he needs while also giving SJ a permanent role

KCP 33 - SJ ? - SJ shpuld absorb some minutes here but we're gonna need someone else (Hilly)

RJ 28 - Ish 20

With the Detroit Pistons. What are the three things needed to win?

Go To Scorer. We don't have THAT guy.

Outside shooting. Imagine what having a guy like C.J. Mocullum could do on our team.

Defense, defense, defense.
...

On the Detroit team, Sf or Pf? I'd take an all star small forward. No question.

More likley to get that outside shot at the sf spot. You'll need that defense at the sf spot as well.
