well then its a good thing that our fans opinions don't matter in regards to his actual value. Fans tend to not a good perception of reality and post on emotion. I have actually been one of his biggest critics , but there is absolutely no need to trade him . He's 23 years old on a long term contract and still has plenty of time to develop. If Raps are offering sh*, which is what they are offering, its a easy no
You're fans opinions DO matter when two "fans" are discussing a possible trade. Neither of us are NBA GM's, we're just fans (unfortunately) and you lose alot of fan trade value with threads titled "Drummond has little trade value" right at the top of the Detroit Pistons board, which paints a picture of a lazy player getting paid superstar money when's hes just a glorified garbage man.
Here is a little summary of what I've learned from reading that discussion.
- 43% FT shooter
- Terrible defender
-Unmotivated /Bad attitude
- Grotesquely overpaid
- Major regression from last year
- Can't win with players like Dre earing up the cap
I have my own evaluation of the guy, which differs a bit from your fans, so I'm still interested.
Anyways, appreciate the bball talk, but need some rest. Best of luck the rest of the way, always been a Detroit fan growing up near the city. Take care.
*facepalm
Offering scraps and using the basis of "There are threads on your board that says he's not worth much" literally is hilarious and literally the first time i've ever seen it in a debate on RealGM. I can appreciate a difference of opinion and i get why you'd want Dre so bad, its just Jval and a 1st doesn't move the needle for us at all. See you guys in the playoffs(hopefully)
