Oh well, saves me time having to really give a **** about the team the ROS. This team might market itself around "Detroit" but it's pretty much the antithesis of what that is supposed to mean in the basketball realm. Get the 8th seed, lose in a first round sweep.

Why are you so sure that we'll be the 8th seed? Chicago just traded some of its better players and are looking like a joke still.

The seventh seed is definitely up for grabs.

No one aside from Cleveland is a guarantee for the second round either.

Awful defense and most of the offense being a 2-man game with him and Drummond while marginalizing the other three guys on the court?

Uh... yay?

more so feasting in the lane, or at least getting into it. Running in transition (though feel like ish still does it more) and providing playmaking when we are struggling to create it, mostly in the 4th.

If we get the same RJ ,that played last game, for the remainder of the season. We will be fine.

Nah. Reggie doesn't push the ball in transition. If that starts happening it will be something new, not getting back to the player he was last season.

The only playmaking Jackson does is for himself. Mostly getting to the rim off of a pick. Well, I guess there's the occasional lob to Drummond too.

I really thought we were going to trade RJ, guess I have to hope he can return his former self.

This does however give us an opportunity to wait until the offseason, we can see how it ends this season, and then make a move with one of Reggie, KCP or Andre.

I'm still steadfast in the belief we can't afford all 3, or at least it would be idiotic to do so.

I'm gonna call my shot now, just for stuff and giggles — if Stanley continues improving and playing well for the last 25 games (and hopefully playoffs), we trade Mook on draft night. Don't know how the trade would shape up — maybe Mook & our pick for a higher pick, or even something W-A-Y bigger including RJ, depending upon how he finishes the season — but Morris, on that contract, could be SUCH a valuable trade piece if SVG feels SJ is ready to start.

This should be on all of their marketing.

3rd highest payroll. Hobbling ball dominant PG that will not change his game for the betterment of the team. Team built around a guy who is clearly not a franchise player. I don't think I can repeat this enough, 3rd highest payroll in the F'ing league for a mediocre team that's barely in the playoff race in a year where the East is a complete joke outside of 3 teams.

Wait, so Nerlens Noel was had for a 1st, a no-name swingman, and Bogut who is being waived???
Baynes and Bullock and our 1st for Noel. What's the difference? Just the pick?

Anderson is actually a pretty solid gamble for Philadelphia. He has a decent bit more value than Bullock.

Noel doesn't make sense for Detroit unless Drummond is gone anyways. Otherwise they're giving him a big deal this summer and spending $35-40 million a year on the center position while being way over the luxury tax. Not happening.

I'll believe any Anderson hype once I've known his name for longer than 24 hours. Bullock was any given throwaway, as I'm going to treat any other 14mpg player (those are Udrih numbers), like Justin Anderson.

Baynes doesn't have a future with the Pistons. Bullock doesn't have a future with the Pistons. Henry Ellenson has played just a little over a game with the Pistons, and our next first round pick will likely have a similar fate.

Nerlens Noel has a future in the league.

Forget Okafor, if we could have gotten Noel for negligible parts it would have been great for value purposes.

Jackson/Smith
KCP/Johnson
Morris/Johnson and Harris
Leuer/Harris and Noel
Drummond/Noel

That's a 9-man rotation that I'd be happier to roll with. If we're still thinking of dealing Jackson or Drummond at a later date, we still can. I'd rather deal with his restricted free agency than deal with the nothing that we're going to get from whatever package it would have taken to get Noel. When former #1 caliber picks are available and aren't currently injured or acting a fool, I'm going to wish we got a piece.

Not much difference for Philly but makes no sense for us given that Noel is looking to get PAID this off-season

Dallas could still use RJ though so that's a good thing.
