But these last few weeks of the regular season and the playoffs we need to go to more efficient options. We lost a few games this year by trying to work on Dre's post game and at the end of the day it will still be fine as long as we can get him locked into what he needs to do down the stretch and not have him care about a lack of getting fed in the post now that we're in a lot of must win games and prepping for a playoff run.

I think with how few post ups dre has gotten recently there's no way SVG didn't tell him we need more efficient offense. Andre is elite as a roll man and an offensive rebounder but too many possessions he would be spending time and energy fighting for post position instead of setting screens.

The way the team has played recently makes me pretty darn excited for the playoffs

^agreed and IMO he'll be at his true best offensively when he can learn to find the right balance between the pnr, putbacks, and post ups.

I'm no psychologist but I think Dre is extremely shy.

Yet to see an interview where he looks remotely comfortable

Is it possible all his extroverted stuff is fake

I'm noticing a distinct lack of postups and a return to the garbage man role, where he is easily the best in the league, one of the best all time

If he plays this way every game I wouldn't trade him even for Cousins.

Yep. I think just about everyone on this board has pleaded for this team to stop feeding Andre the ball in the post. It doesnt usually end well and its basically a TO. The only time he should EVER touch the ball is on lobs and Off Reb put backs. That's literally it. They need to stop making him to something he will never be and just focus on what he is good at, lobs and O rebounds.

Another great win. Looks like Dre has turned the corner (back to garbage man role) and Jackson is making shots he used to make

I guess I need to not watch any games. The team, and seemingly Reggie and Andre specifically, play much better when I can't catch one.

I've been, waiting for a roll to start all year. Is this the beginning?

I see no reason for it not to be...

Putting Tobias in the starting lineup has kept us from going down big to start games and have won both games he's started.

One of the best starting lineups from last year still actually works when their PG can give it his all and not pace. I think SVG finally solved his problem.
