henry dropped 17 and 12 yesterday, here are the highlights:

Reggie Jackson moves so much slower than he used to.

henry dropped 25/7/3 last night in a win over the raps 905.
he showed some nice vision on his drive and kicks and also showed off his ability to handle and drive the rim.

Why aren't we playing this guy and SJ again?
Oh that's right we need to save minutes for a group of starters that can barely put up 30 points in a second half against the freaking Pacers.

it's nice to see henry doing well in the D League but there is a huge difference between the D league and the nba. henry still has a ways to go defensively before he can get regular minutes in the nba and scoring won't be so easy against bigger, smarter, and more athletic players in the nba.
i understand patience can be tested when the players that do play come out flat way too often but guys like henry aren't the answer - yet.

D-League is a **** league, but I'd be concerned if he wasn't dominating down there. At least we know he can stretch the floor and has some game. He'll get his shot soon if we continue to struggle.

yeah if you're doing well in the D league it might not mean much but if you're not doing well in the D league it's definitely a bad sign.

I'm all for giving Ellenson NBA minutes but Lueur is going to be a big roadblock for him. Leuer is probably the better player as of now.

I'm not saying start the guy, but to not give him some actual burn just to see is crazy.
SVG would rather watch Reggie play through an injury while praying Dre will cover up for him on defense.

I think our team sucks. But, you can't put any weight on D-League outings. Dinwiddie was a monster in the D-League.

so henry's gotten his first real playing time the last couple games. this was probably his most impressive moment:
it's not often you see guys ellenson's size use hesitation moves with the ball. this might be a better dribble move than we've seen from SJ in his first two years lol. ellenson even did a good job doing the reverse with his left hand to avoid the block attempt.

Thing I instantly notice with him is he really needs to get stronger. Last game he got denied 3 times at the rim in a matter of like 3 seconds. He has a nice skill set but he's very weak at the rim on both sides right now. I just don't want to see his skill set go to waste just camping behind the 3.

i think he looks a little quicker than i remember him being in college so i think he has worked on his body so far.
definitely needs to get stronger though. he has zero explosiveness from a standstill (might not ever) so getting stronger especially in the core/shoulder areas will help him bang under the rim.
