For all of this losing we still aren't even really moving down in the standings, and it doesn't look like we're going to either. Maybe the Hornets pass us. Maybe not. Nobody out west is budging.

This is devastating.

At the beginning of the year this is more or less how I would have described the worst outcome possible for this franchise. Bad enough to be a major step back from last season, good enough that we still don't get a real shot at a franchise changer.

So yeah. All of this, again. Its amazing how perfectly badly things broke this year.

It never fails, no matter how strong a draft class is, you can always count on the Pistons to be one pick away from the sweet spot of that draft.
