Cousins, Towns, Jordan, Embiid, Gobert, Porzingis (who was used at PF but I believe will ultimately be a center). Davis was used there this year, but its unlikely they'll continue to place him in that category if Cousins is there long term. Still, that's enough talent and skill to keep someone like Drummond off. All you need is half of those guys to be good enough.

I think there's plenty in the coming years that will keep Drummond out. He's not on level with what these guys either are or will soon become.

Yeah, there a few after all. Towns and Gobert are outstanding, but Embiid has injury issues and Jordan is a one way player. Dre will have to up his game but I think he's more likely than anyone we have or will soon join us.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy
