Dream scenarios are fine but the unfortunately reality is that the Pistons' scouting sucks.

Kinda looks that way. The only SVG pick I would definitely call a bomb at this point is Hilliard. Others have potential to be bombs, but have yet to be determined. None of SVG's picks have been clear winners, though.
The last time this organization really hit big on a pick (relative to where picked) was Middleton in the 2nd round in 2012.
KCP was a win in 2013, especially considering the grief Dumars took for not picking Burke instead! (lots of folks owe him an apology for that).

Well lets be honest here. There is a reason why these GMs have the top10 picks and the biggest reason is because these are 10 of the worst GMs. The fact that the Kings pass on you increases your draft stock not lower it.
