Reggie will go back to playing like he did when he was healthy, KCP will develop into the next Jimmy Butler, Andre will finally learn how to play defense and shoot free throws, Tobias will get the ball more and average 20 points a game atleast, Marcus will pass the ball every once in awhile, Kennard and Henry will be the splash bros off the bench with lebron 2.0 in stanley johnson. This team will be fine guys im tellin ya

I'm still firmly in the "fire SVG" camp. Particularly in relation to his coaching. We have talent on this team, and he can't coach it to save his life.

Re: Fire SVG
SVG is the best coach we've had since Larry Brown. Part of his failings have to do with not holding RJ and Dre to the same standard as Stanley. Watching elite teams like GSW has shown me we have a long way to go before we are a credible threat. And much of that next level credible threat development falls heavily on the shoulders of the players. Teams win when there's buy-in. Teams win when players play for Ws that lead to playoffs that lead to rings.
We've got a few guys with chips on their shoulders to show folks what they can do, but it isn't for the betterment of the team, its for personal shine. We've got a few (not many) entitled guys who need to either show that they have dog in them or they need to go. If the team doesn't look considerably different from last year's dumpster fire, guys need to be shipped. In a short time since being here SVG has shown that his system works. Guys have to develop a since of urgency and ownership. No more slogans this year, just compete.

Agree, a coach can only take you so far. It's up to the players to buy in and become professionals giving everything they got. I mean my God Kerr is looked at as amazing at the moment but he doesn't even have to coach that team anymore and his players still play with it all on the line. Reggie and Dre are just lazy and immature while SVG cares almost too much. But go ahead as our city is nothing but bandwagon fans anyways.

It has been unbearable watching immature and unprofessional guys on a team that has won championships based on blue collar toughness with labels like Bad Boys and Goin to Work. I REALLY hope this summer marks a turning point for the team. They've got to either take that next step or the front office has to start showing the under achievers the door.

Kerr's coaching has more to do with the #7 or #8 guy on the roster down as opposed to his top 6 or so
It's a massive misconception that big time winning teams require less coaching.
Yes there's less need to "motivate" the group as a whole but the "lesser" guys need to be managed more...
Assuming you've got the right kind of players obviously.
A guy glued to the bench might be content to sit there and wave a towel - it's your job as Coach to motivate him, develop him and give him enough minutes to add fuel to his competitive fire.
When a player is a bust who should be blamed? The guy for not putting in the work or the organization for not developing the guy?
