I really don't understand all the people calling for stan to play the young guys in one thread and then suggesting we sign rotation quality vets in the next. There is only room in a rotation for maybe 9 guys to play consistent minutes. RJ, AB,Dre,Tobias, ish and Leuer are locks to play. You get 3 more spots for SJ, Kennard, Ellenson, Galloway and Boban. Already, 2 of those guys are mostly sitting the bench. If you add another rotation quality vet, what do you think happens?

We're not getting a rotation quality vet for the BAE. But we have little depth at the three right now - just Tobias Harris and Stanley Jackson.

Gerald Green might be a good fit - I wonder if Avery Bradley would have any pull with him to get him to come here.

All you're getting for $3M - Detroit Tax is end of bench fodder. It's not like Tyreke Evans is signing here for $3.3M, Omri Casspi is signing with us for $2.1M or Jeff Green is signing here for $2.3M like Memphis, Golden State and Cleveland signed them for respectively.

Trey Burke. Sorry, somebody had to say it and now KCP is gone, it's the perfect time for this to finally happen. I still think there is potential there. 44% from 3 last year. Take a flier, Stan!

We should also make a sign and trade offer for JaMychal Green. I'd offer Leuer and a 2nd.

I'd look into both scenarios. PG seems to be up for grabs, so why not take a flyer on a young guy? And Bradley, Leuer, and Harris are going to be trade bait guys all season.
