Also said in the Galloway/Moreland unveiling presser that they'll likely spend last two spots on forward spots - one SF and one PF. Also looking at potential two-way contract players as well. Going to have a main roster of 14 and two swing contracts. The initially brought Moreland in to June Try out and then SL invite with the idea he could be one of their two-way contracts, but given what they saw of him in the SL practices and how he played, he played himself into a regular contract either here or elsewhere.

Given we're looking for a SF and a PF I'll predict Reggie Bullock is resigned using his FBR's which allows us to use our BAE to sign Anthony Tolliver.

Final Roster
Reggie Jackson|Ish Smith|Langston Galloway
Avery Bradley|Luke Kennard
Tobias Harris|Stanley Johnson|Reggie Bullock
Jon Leuer|Henry Ellenson|Anthony Tolliver
Andre Drummond|Boban Marjanovic|Eric Moreland
Weaver = Hinkie

Think it's pretty clear that IF AB bolts next off-season we'll get a rebuild

Look at all the short contracts for small $$$

Ish, Galloway & Jon could all play roles on good teams. So could Bullock if he could stay healthy

Think we're stuck with Bobo though

RJ, Dre & Harris are the only "big" money contracts we'd be "saddled" with

I think we did lack veteran leadership last season. AB and Tolliver could provide that and do wonders to this team. So I hope we bring Tolliver back since we`re after a PF.

I still wouldn't mind having Jonas Jerebko back... Seems like there are still a lot of names out there and not a lot of players getting signed right now.

Tolliver shot 39% from three last year for Sacramento. He wasn't worth his contract this season so it was smart of them to cut him while it wasn't guaranteed but he has a role in the league. A small one, but Anthony would fit really well as the last guy for Detroit to sign. Emergency depth at the four in case of injuries that can provide shooting from deep and from all accounts a terrific veteran presence.

We have to keep in mind that only 13 players at most are active for games. Gbinije will more than likely be one of them. Don't think Bullock (if healthy and not suspended) is a candidate for that after the team signed him to more than the minimum. It could be Moreland but he's likely the best defensive center on the team so I think he has a shot at playing on a regular basis, albeit in limited minutes. So the other one is probably the last guy that Detroit brings in.

Would Tolliver sign with that in mind? Maybe not, but he would be about as good as they're going to get otherwise. Especially with only the veteran's minimum or BAE to work with. I'm hoping for the minimum though so that leaves the BAE open to use next season (can't use it two years in a row, hence the name bi-annual exception).

The most interesting part about that prior Tweet is Ellis saying the 14th spot. Sounds like Gbinije will be gone.

A few days ago there was an article about how the Pistons would like to add two more players and that they were going to carry 14 to start the season. He's definitely gone - at least off the roster. I could still see him signed to one of those two-ways deals if he's open to it. And he should be, it's a gift. He could try to go over to Euroball to make a career but I bet his first contract over there wouldn't be $275K AAV.

Tolly is much more likely. He didn't leave here rather bitter with his role under SVG.

Tolliver is back one yr, $3.3m.

I'm glad to see him back. He can shoot the 3 well, and is a high character vet that will hopefully get the locker room in order. There's worse ways to fill out a roster.

Looking forward to hopefully the Tolliver effect 2.0.

That's because he's only played 68 games over the last two years.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic... But the dude got waived from a Euroleague team.

If Detroit signed him he'd instantly be the newest hated Piston for the same reasons people hate Dre and Reggie.

I'd think I would go European free agent maybe, or just wait until the best available 3. Days before training camp.
