I will laugh my ass off if Dre becomes the first player to shoot higher 3pt% than ft% on a season.

I don't know if it was the first time or not, but rookie year he was 1/2 on 3 pointers and 37.1% on free throws.

Edit: Shaquille O'neal also did it the year he hit his one 3P (he was 1/22 for his career, but 1/2 that year). He was 48.7% from the line that year.
