I don't understand SVG's vision at this point. It really does feel like he's running this team like a coach trying to win the next game, not a GM with a larger long term vision. And its pretty frustrating at this point.

It really was an accurate article - You can’t have half your bench making 7 million per year - must read.

Leuer - 10M / year
Galloway - 7M / year
Boban - 7M / year

Feels great to throw 24M in the trash! Actually who cares it isnt my money?

What i do care about is the type of player we could have went and gotten for 12M or even 20M?

Boban + Leuer + Galloway = 24M+ :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I still can't understand the Galloway signing. Maybe on a one year deal but 3 years?

I see where Ish would have gotten a multi year deal that summer, but who exactly were we bidding against for Leuer and Boban? And in Boban’s case, did it matter? And three years for Galloway to fight for minutes with four other guards? Even after signing Ish, we could have done Reddick-type deals and rolled the money over to this past year, instead of letting Morris/KCP/Baynes go, and looked really good heading into the season. Reminder: Baynes signed for $4 million!

This is why the player ranking is fascinating to me - we’re now at the point of AT/Henry/Luke/Galloway. And it is unfortunate. We should have 7-8 legit ballers. Instead we have four and a giant storm cloud......

Think about his for a second:

Baynes, Mook, Afflalo - 11M combined

Leuer, Boban, Galloway are making 24M

SVG lmfao

Leuer’s agent: “Jon, GET TO DETROIT! Van Gundy wants to give you forty two million dollars!”
Jon: “Four Point Two million dollars! Awesome! Hope I can live up to their expectations! I’ll take it!”
