I would say that Detroiters are boycotting because there wasn't a community benefits agreement for bringing the Pistons downtown and the building of LCA, plus the use of a lot of public funds. Now for everyone else who doesn't really care what Detroit get out of this agreement, I'm pretty sure the long history of Detroit's stigmatization goes a long way and they haven't fully bought into the "new hope" that the city is doing well and safe for them to come down and enjoy their night. plus tickets are high and parking is a pain.

The ticket prices are insane. Every other team with an empty stadium has last minute tickets available for under $10. They still make plenty of money on drinks, parking etc. Just get some people in the seats! That's what will drive benefit for the community and spill over into all the other businesses around.

But yeah, anyone over 40 or so remembers "downtown detroit" as a place you don't bring your family to. It's going to take a while to overcome that. It certainly doesn't help that almost all the games are at night.

What is going on with the Pistons ? I had money on them tonight to cover the spread , smh . SVG has to switch something up, a weakened Denver team at home would be the perfect opportunity for a W

Word. I just took them straight & they got me bad. Had the Spurs too who took a bad loss to Dal w/ Leonard coming back.

Thinking about taking Det again tonight. -4 in Atl? Den's offense is way better than ATL's.

It's December. If this losing streak is still alive by January 15th, we'll have a discussion about radical change. Right now, the team is regressing to the mean of a slightly above .500 team that most of pegged them as.

What your saying makes sense but if this is just a slightly above.500 team, changes do need to be made. Internal growth won't make them a contender.

Maybe not radical changes yet but what's the plan here?

SVG showed interest in Kyrie and Bledsoe when it was public knowledge that they were available. I'm fairly confident that if a clear upgrade is on the market, he'll at the very least engage in discussions for that player and see if there is a deal there.

We are in a bad spot to improve outside of internal growth. Any of the players that other teams would be interested in, we would ideally like to keep (barring a positional swap), and everyone else is on a bad contract that no team would be interested in.

I can't project a plan beyond "stay the course, and hope something shakes loose." SVG runs this team with zero forethought in regards to cap management and managing trade assets.

He's a loud mouth, annoying fat ass, that "tells it like it is". Sounds downright presidential for the right.
