Take a shot with Emmanuel Mudiay

Not sure what it would take to get him. He's not guaranteed a roster spot when he returns from a short injury with Denver. His numbers aren't terrible this year. Maybe Van Gundy could work his PG magic with him. Any takers? What would we have to give? We realistically need a starting SF too.

Mudiay is a guy I would love to take a chance on but for the right price. Something of an issue though, I think he’s one of those guys that needs a consistent role to get going, so unless Ish or Reggie gets traded he wouldn’t get that opportunity. SVG’s “developmental” leash would also leave him looking strangled each game, SVG is the wrong coach.

He wouldn't play here right away - so isn't likely the trade SVG looks for. He'll want an immediate impact type player at the point.

Denver could use a developmental SF, a Johnson for Mudiay trade might be a fit for both teams and players involved, but we're really short at SF ourselves.
