i wonder if shifting DB's contract to standard and signing Kay means DB ,Ish, or RJ are being traded. Makes very little sense to have a 4th pg.

I don't think a two way player is a sign that any moves higher up in the roster are on the horizon.

Read on Twitter

Either the Felder news is false or Luis Montero will be waived.

SVG is making some KILLER moves.

Jeff Van Gundy raved about him recently as he had him on the World Cup team and said a team was going to be very happy when they give him a shot.

Are you thinking of Jameel Warney - because JVG said exactly that about this undersized, no-range wide load center.

Either mistaken and it's not the Pistons, or Montero was released after being hurt basically the whole season (and/or was up and didn't play and thus burnt out his games availability with us).

It was on a podcast recently. I think the Lowe Post. He said something like he was trying to convince teams to take a shot on him and someone was going to and he very happy.

One of the best 3-ball shooters in the G-League. Not sure where he'll report to as Montero was with the Pistons while Stanley was out. If Stanley isn't back does Hearn dress for the Pistons? Or at least up travelling with them?

Is Otis Smith still "head of player development?"

Whoever holds that title for us should by no means be allowed to be the “head of player development”. Cuz we don’t develop diddly.

Depends on how you look at it.

Both Moreland and Buycks have shown to be useful NBA players, and nothing was expected from them.

Kennard is coming along well enough, and even Drummond has taken a huge step forward this season.

IMO, a lot of the lack of development with Stanley and Ellenson is due to them simply not being a great lump of clay to work with.

Ellenson's problem is Leuer's injury and thus he's having to be on the main roster all year versus being able to play in GR. It's tough on young players especially not to play for weeks on end and then get thrown in garbage minutes and expected to perform.

One could argue that Leuer's injury is the main reason why there isn't a whole lot of hope for Ellenson. Jon going down should have opened up a semblance of semi regular playing time for Henry, yet he hasn't been able to prove to be a better option than Tolliver at PF and even Moreland at C. Not even in certain matchups.

Even if Leuer stayed healthy, it would have been pretty disappointing if Henry didn't see the floor no more than he has. Leuer is not good, and you would hope Henry in his 2nd season would have taken some kind of step forward.

Without Leuer in the fold, its just sad.

thought about it, this maybe a franchise changing signing. While its a reallllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllyy looooooooooooooooooooonnnng long shot, SVG is notorious for turning pg's into NBA players. Felder has IT traits, its a matter of hitting his jump shot consistently.

Reality of it is that KF probably end up at best a g league allstar and nothing more
