#5 Detroit Pistons

The Pistons look good. They beat a good Charlotte team, smacked the heck out of the Wolves, stunned the Warriors and knocked off the undefeated Clippers. More importantly, Tobias Harris is looking like a much-needed third option on offense. He's averaging 23 points while shooting 52 percent from the field. That'll surely regress at some point, but right now the Pistons will take it.

ESPN still somehow has us at 15 as of the revised rankings this morning. Beating the Wolves, Clips, and Warriors is apparently good enough to move up 1 spot.

If it were the Lakers, they would be #1.

ESPN rankings were an absolute joke... I could see us in the 11-13 range maybe being justified but having us behind the Wolves and Magic is pretty laughable.

Are there any board members left thats still convinced SVG is the best coach for this team. The lack of player development of Ellenson and Stanley is terrible. Coaching wise the team has had worst. However there is no need to ever see SVG coach another game. Time to look for SVG replacement.

No I'm done with him here. He's a good enough coach to take Vets who may play hard for him deep in the playoffs .

He's been a big killer for younger players though with his rough panic mentality.

We've had worse coaches but none that were making 7mill a year. His plan has failed hard. He's going to be gone next year after doing a terrible job and making 35million. Lets just hope he doesnt mortgage away are future before he leaves.
