Of course I don't think that we will trade Blake, we got him to keep him not trade him... but similar to how Atlanta traded for Sheed and then flipped him to us within 48 hours we also could send out Blake within 2 days if we sent him out by himself in a trade.
Who would suddenly want to trade for Blake?
Cleveland Cavaliers just had Kevin Love go down with an injury and it seems like they could be the number one team wanting to add a player like Blake to make a run this year.
Any package the Cavaliers or another potentially interested team could put together that would get you to say goodbye to Blake before he plays a game for Detroit?

Yeah I don't think there is any chance we're going to trade him considering we gave up our 2018 pick... but Love + Korver + Nets pick might be a hard trade to pass up if Cleveland is feeling desperate to make a move.

If it doesn't work the rest of the season we should try to move him this summer, but it won't be easy. The Wolves might part with Wiggins for Blake and even though Wiggins hasn't shown a lot he's much younger and has played a full season every year.

Re: We have a small window to trade Blake Griffin
Interesting thought. Not likely, but maybe some other GM was caught off guard and wants a do-over. But not a lot of trading partners - crappy teams are not interested and good teams is hard to pull it off. And now that we've given up our first (essentially two, because AB probably would have fetched one as well) we would have to get a very nice package back. And Love/Korver doesn't do it for me, but that Brooklyn pick looks pretty good

If SVGs gamble fails and Griffin is relatively healthy, the only option would be to send him home to OKC for an expiring Melo and fillers next season.
