Next season lol
Hey it’s way to early for this but I can hardly stand to watch us loose so I got to think about next year. Does anyone think Galloway and Ish gets us Jeremy Lin, I mean if he’d stay healthy I think we’d be way better off when Jackson got hurt, plus we should still have buyucks when there both hurt, and Jameer on vets min. I don’t think we’d have the offensive struggles, they really don’t need Lin anymore, and he really hasn’t had much good luck since joining Brooklyn. He seems like a pg who can over achieve under svg, in a contract yr.Lets all visualize a ten game win streak.

I say a trade for Olnyk in the offseason. miami might want to try and keep Ellington without paying luxury if we send ish and Leuer and picks for Olnyk and Richardson. then go and flip Galloway for an actual backup point guard.
Jackson, Backup
Bullock, Richardson, Kennard
Stanley, Ennis
Blake, Tolliver
Dre, Olnyk
I think this team could make some noise without breaking the bank.

The Josh Smith Hawks 2.0.
Or a very poor man's version of the CP3 Clippers

Re: Next season lol
Our options without blowing it up;
Leuer Ish Galloway ($23million) for one hell of an overpaid wing player. Gets rid of our redundant junk for a shiny new piece of junk that we can use. Ellenson can replace Leuer. Buycks can replace Ish. Luke can replace Galloway. Bullock and SJ share SF.
Ellenson Ish Kennard ($12million) for a wing. These 3, along with SJ and Bullock, are our positive value trade pieces. Its a stretch I know. Just work with me people
Leuer Ellenson Luke for Bazemore or Fournier. We dump Leuers contract with our two young guys for one of these overpaid but needed guys. Leaves us thin up front but I'm sure our 2nd round pick helps us cover it
We end up;
C-Drummond Moreland
PF-Blake Ellenson
SF-SJ Bullock
SG-? Luke
PG-RJ Buycks
Or;
C-Drummond Moreland
PF-Blake 2nd rounder
SF-SJ Bullock
SG-Fournier Galloway
PG-RJ Ish

Or! Leuer and Ish for Bazemore. And Ellenson Luke Galloway for Fournier. Toss in draft picks as needed since we're all about destroying our future
C-Drummond Moreland
PF-Blake 2nd rounder
SF-Bazemore SJ
SG-Fournier Bullock
PG-RJ Buycks

Re: Next season lol
Fire both versions of SVG. Bring in Chauncey Billups, let him take the first year easy, hope for the best. If possible move anyone except Kennard, Stanley, and Reggie Bullock. Unless you have to add them to move other guys. Chances are, none of the big contracts were movable, focus on 2nd/3rd chance guys like Buycks who are hungry to prove themselves rather then the typical Piston of "i got paid, i'll take it easy'

We should draft Grayson Allen. It would help Luke enjoy his time on the bench.

Re: Next season lol
Maybe we'll get lucky, and RJ and Blake will miss the whole season with whatever injury they're likely to get and we get the #1 pick in 2019.
That's honestly the best case scenario. Except for those who think chasing the 8th seed is the bee's knees.
