Da Bomb - Beyond Insanity is always the one that first hits the guests hard. I'm a fan of the web series and thus have probably watched about 80% of them, and almost to a man/woman the guest is cruising and feeling emboldened and then BAM!
I really liked when Blake was talking about the media and how they all seem to ask the same questions and if it was him he'd listen to all the other questions before him and ask something totally different. Writers/reporters already have their stories in mind, if not mostly written before the Q&A, so they want specific quotes that fit into their article already.
What I'm realizing about Blake is that he's not a big city/LA/Hollywood type of dude and he might have left he had to play to that image while with the Clippers. He's a OKC kid who's father coached him him HS and who went to the in-State school when I'm sure every elite program was rolling out the red carpet for him.
I was reminded of his Player's Tribune article from a few years ago during the Donald Sterling mess - it's worth a read as well - https://www.theplayerstribune.com/en-us/articles/blake-griffin-the-boss

Blake is just a good dude to be honest. He’s also an example of how a good haircut does wonders
