I envision a game against the Sixers, Embiid trash talking Andre, and Zaza comes in. Blocking out, Zaza accidentally steps on Embiid's oft injured right foot, ending his season. Somewhere in Las Vegas, Bill Laimbeer breaks out in a smile.

Might as well have something to look forward to during the summer doldrums.

Nice Strawman hyperbole, well played sir.

To answer your question, maybe it has something to do with we're still only like 2 weeks into free agency some free agent dominoes haven't fell yet including big ones like Clint Capela.

Okay, now wut?

Moreland signs partially guaranteed deal with the Raptors - https://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/251155/Eric-Moreland-Agrees-To-Partially-Guaranteed-Deal-With-Raptors

I think that means they want to have him as a "designated player" to send to their affiliate G-League team.

I wish Moreland well. He never lacked for 'Try hard,' and seemed like a good guy.

Eric Moreland - C - Suns

The Suns are finalizing a deal for Eric Moreland according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

The 26-year-old center has had stints with the Kings and Pistons and attended Toronto's training camp in September. He did show a lot of promise in Detroit for his rebounding and shot-blocking, so he will be a nice addition behind DeAndre Ayton and Richaun Holmes.

I'm happy for him, he definitely deserved to be in the NBA.

As a mobile defensive minded C, he'll be a nice compliment to Ayton.
