Same ankle that cost him most of last season - not good at all.

When are Bullock and Johnson expected back? This probably means one or the other starts at SF for the forseeable future. I'd probably go Kennard-Bullock to start on the wing, with Johnson still off the bench with the second unit.

Ugh. Sucks for him. For the team though, we could call up anyone from the G-League and get about the same production. The guy was averaging 2.8 ppg in the last 10.

Yeah Zach Lofton can probably do more than GRIII still sucks to have the 4th rotation player out withh injury, I hope it's nothing serious.

Yup, its Zach Lofton time and he'll probably be an upgrade. At the very least he'll bring energy and let you know he's on the floor.

One thing to keep in mind is Lofton can only be on the NBA roster for 45 days. He's already accrued a couple days earlier in the season. Detroit can't convert his contract to a standard NBA one and stay under the luxury tax. So best case scenario, Lofton turns himself into a solid contributor, but he'll come with an automatic expiration date unfortunately.

GR3 will not be missed. I had high hopes for a breakout year for him on a team starved for wing depth, but he's been nothing less than putrid. Thank the heavens the second year is a team option. Maybe if Lofton shows something, Robinson can be dumped very easily.

I'd like to see Khyri Thomas get a chance. I mean Bruce Brown is getting chances left and right.

Definitely. I want to see a lot more Khyri Thomas. He was supposed to be the real 2nd round steal but Brown has gotten all the opportunities for some reason.

There's a reasonable chance GRIII has played his last game with the Pistons.

That reason is because brown beat him out for the job in camp and then stepped up when he got his chance in games.

It's a long season though and we've already seen how injuries can change the rotation overnight. We're about 1 more rolled ankle away from needing open tryouts at little ceasars.
