“This feels like home,” he said after Pistons practice as they put to good use a three-day break between games ahead of a four-game home stand they hope will kick start a playoff stretch drive. “Last year was such a whirlwind. Even at the end of the season, I wasn’t acclimated, wasn’t adjusted yet. But it feels like home now. I’ve really come to be very, very fond of Michigan and the fans, the people, everything, top to bottom, the organization. So I’m settled in. But we still have things we need to work on. We’re obviously not where we want to be. It’s a work in progress and I’m excited about that challenge.” – via NBA.com
Could he be anymore of a ultimate pro both in his play this year and how he presents himself. I hope this leadership brings others up to his level on effort and accountability. He is only one player but I hope the younger players follow his lead. He is actually a lot better than I expected in all regards. Now we need to get him help.

"Look, I'm here. If I was thinking about leaving, I'd never re-sign [last summer]. I'm here to stay," Davis told ESPN Radio's Meet The All-Stars show that will air Saturday night (5:30 p.m. ET).

"I don't really care," Davis told ESPN of James' comments Wednesday night after the Pelicans' 123-115 loss to the Bucks. "Obviously, it's cool to hear any high-caliber player say they want to play with me. But my job is to turn this team around. If we're 15-17, that means I'm not doing my job."
"When that time comes, of course we will see," Davis said. "I love my teammates. I love New Orleans. I love the fans. I talk their slang. I love their food."

These guys are trained to speak to media a certain way. You really cant buy into their fluff quotes. Common sense goes a long way you can see the way the nba works nowadays. Lowe was projecting Davis to leave for awhile now. Stars dont want to stay on crap teams with no chance to win anything anymore.

Stars never wanted to stay in bad situations. There just wasn't anything they could do about it. They signed 7 year contracts and didn't have the modern free agency process. The owners kinda forced this on the league by limiting contract length and the max contract structure.

Its funny a couple days ago its some twitter media guy leaking some stuff about Blake wanting to leave. Now we read those Blake quotes and its clear whats going through his mind. During the offseason its going to be "Blake wants a trade". Doesn't take Nostradamus to see the writing on the wall here.

If we can get rid of Reggie/Drummond somehow for Conley/Gasol (already rumored to be interested in Gasol) i could see Blake wanting to stay but if not he is gone this offseason
Blake got pooped on by the Clippers and now is balling out of control on the biggest team of jokers in the NBA with no cap space or assets to make moves. He would be dumb to stay

If the Pistons don't trade RJ and Dre, I can see Blake quitting on the team and demanding a trade

Hope he forces the riddance of those two.
You don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows.
