If you want to end with the tag question, do, you should use the sentence You don't know how English works, do you?. Generally, the opposite form of the auxiliary verb is used in the tag question and this holds true in this instance as well.

Let us all take this as a learning moment in our quest toward becoming the most grammatically pristine board on this website.

Ah, just saw this. Very well stated.

And a learning moment about the arrogance of Toronto fans as well.

what the ****?

You realize in my comment, which i posted BEFORE his comment, I also mentioned the comma issue as well?

Jeez, you just pick and choose buddy.

Forget the comma. You're wrong about the grammar content being incorrect, which is the only message I've carried from the beginning.

Not exactly a "by the book" continuation of a game thread, but interesting nonetheless. At least to me and Mr. "Oh yeah? I'll bet you $100!" anyway.

Seriously, dude. $100? How old are you? 12?

You keep calling him 12 and he's going to get his daddy to beat up your daddy.

Don't other teams play the same weak teams we do? First you have to win the games you're supposed to win. Then you have to play well against the upper-tier teams. We obviously are not quite there yet but we're going in the right direction.

I'm not saying they can't lose but FFS if recent trends continue they'll run all over the Brooklyns, Miamis and Lakers of the world. And that was my initial point, the Pistons aren't the ones that need to step their game up, they've already done that. And there's more evidence than just the Cavs game to prove it.

Agree to disagree

The Pistons schedule has been pathetically weak the past few weeks. Beating NY twice, WAS, ATL, and CLE is not impressive at all. You’re delusional if you think otherwise

LAL, @BKN are going to be favorites over us. I’m willing to bet money on this. Vegas will have them as favorites, outside of a catostrophic injury. That’s just facts

Usually, when folks "agree to disagree" they don't refer to the other's opinion as "delusional." That seems more like simple, blunt disagreement without much respect for the possibility of varying opinions.

This game ended a few days ago and there's been another one since then, plus another tonight, and there's nothing good going on in this thread.

I think it's time to put it down.
