Only if you don’t have better shooters...

Yep especially when you don't have any other options. The've been figured out.

Long wings play zone and clog up the paint, gamble on passes, rack up steals.

Pistons don't have any wings worth playing, so they're stuck with no offense to cut or drive through the paint, and nobody to stop the opposing teams talented wings.

Casey can opt to play 2 pgs, RJ and Ish at the same time to break up the zone. Other than Glenn Robinson turning into a star wing, that's the only option they got.
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.
Weaver & Casey, govern yourselves accordingly!

We live or die by our 3 pt shooting (like every team in the league) and/or our 3 playmakers inside (Dre, Blake, and Jackson). If those 3 aren't producing, it's likely the 3 pt shooting isn't falling. That's what happens in a top heavy team like the 76ers. The stars have to produce and it's okay. But we need a better point guard to have a more consistent play from our wings and center. OR you upgrade SF position for another playmaker like an Ariza type of player. Similar trade of how we got Tobias or Chicago getting Porter last offseason. I'd do plan B and cash in Galloway and Leuer expiring for a starting SF like Harrison Barnes type of player. Then I'd trade jackson by the trade deadline to any available starting point guard that becomes available for cheap. You'll have a first round pick or kennard as sweetners to get another star. We're in position to make a significant trade this offseason. We just need to make the playoffs and let the players increase their value.

We only take 2 more 3's per game than the league average. Our problem is that we really don't have any creators outside of Blake unless RJ happens to be on that night. Dre can get his off of offensive rebounds, but that's no something you can rely on consistently. Everyone else is dependent on the offense to get them decent looks. If the ball quits moving, it gets ugly really fast.
