Or maybe he will be in the 15 but will essentially play in G-League next season, like K. Thomas this year.

Damn, I really like this signing. Interesting it's a 2-way deal as we only have two of those to give out and reportedly Bone has one. So what happens to Sirvydis?

Sirvdyis or Bone? Sirvydis being a true stash means he just signs a standard G-League contract for 70K. I believe he could still be an affiliate player with us so will be on the Drive.

Sirvydis

That has to be us telling him to stay in Europe. He has to buy himself out to come over here and then play for $70K?

Guessing hes stayin overseas

Unless he makes the roster? Dont see that.

Using 2 way deals on unproven players is how id like to use them. Especially for positions of need. Not friggin Kalin Lucas or Whitehead.

If we waive GR3 option, how many roster spots left do we have?

I like King and Bone on two way contracts. Both could develop into useful pieces. One may surprise us.
Parking Sirvdyis in the G-League or Europe is fine with me.

Definitely a test of how the Pistons organization can develop young talent.

Jackson (Bone 2-way)
Kennard, Galloway, Brown Jr, Thomas
Snell, Mykhailiuk (King 2-way)
Griffin, Doumbouya
Drummond, Maker

So Four.

Ish, Robinson, Zaza, Calderon, Ellington subtracted.

Last season Casey carried five bigs to start the year and four point guards (inc 2-way). Drummond, Griffin, Zaza, Leuer, Ellenson at the 4/5 and Jackson, Ish, Calderon and Keenan Evans(2-way).

Assume the same break down is desired and this current roster needs two point guards (one Ish variety and one Calderon variety) and one Zaza variety big (with Maker replacing the Leuer role).

is playing in the g league really better than playing overseas?

all you hear from former NBA players is you just develop bad habits in g league and that's why there aren't many success stories.

still don't understand why pistons didn't just spend 30 on a ready now player that fit a need like Bruno Fernando. getting the 2 Africans would have been a cool story too. God they messed this up

So, I'm thinking something like

Jackson/Rose/ Bone (2 way)
Kennard/Brown/Galloway/Thomas
Snell/Dudley/Svi/ King (2 way)
Griffin/Doumbouya
Drummond/McGee/Maker

Team desperately needs someone to play the 3 still

Sekou is that dude looking at that roster.

Also wouldn't be surprised to see Brown start at the 2 with Luke off the bench with Rose.

12 man:

RJ - Rose
Brown - Luke - Galloway
Snell - Sekou
BG - Dudley - Thon
Dre - McGee

Maybe he could slide there, but I think long term Sekou projects as an NBA 4

Looks a bit thin to be a full time 4 ?

Maybe in a few years
