Ive never been knowledgeable about the draft, but can confirm lots of people on this board and elsewhere have scouted better than Joe lol

I would never posit that we collectively know more than the management of an NBA team. But when lots of us wanted Winslow or Booker, went “Uhhh...who?” when Stanley Johnson got drafted, then Stanley turned out to be, well, Stanley, then yeah, you earn the right to be a little critical.

well, that’s not exactly the greatest example when stanley was regarded as one of the top wing prospects in the draft.

I wanted Winslow at the time, but when the reports came out that he purposely tanked his workout with us so we wouldn’t draft him, that really bothered me. booker was definitely more of a wildcard than a sure-thing.

obviously, both guys turned out to have much better careers thus far, but i was satisfied with stanley at the time, as were many others. sometimes you just miss.

Eh I liked KCP and still do I never said give him whatever contract tho. For all the crap he got, he's still leagues better than any wing player we have. Would take him back in a heartbeat.
