I would strongly consider making a waiver claim on Christian Wood.
If they are interested in signing him, there is no reason why they shouldn't put in a claim. He's already on a minimum contract, so they won't be able to sign him cheaper. Plus if he becomes a free agent, Detroit wouldn't be the only team after him.
