Welp, the sooner it starts, the sooner it's over, the sooner the blowup can happen.
Silver lining and all.
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. In my case I don't comment much anymore because the constant griping, negativity, and hopelessness takes the pleasure out it. I expect to be mocked for making this comment. I like some of the things the Pistons have done, and hold out hope for growth and improvement. Looking forward to the season starting. I'm thinking I might buy League Pass again this year as one of my favorite things is watching NBA basketball. I stopped it thinking that between ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV there's plenty on, but I get tired of watching Boston, the Lakers, and GS all the time.
I hear you. I'm the same way. The doom and gloom crowd is strong this offseason. I think most of them are just very short sighted in some respects. It doesn't take much at all for us to simply flip Griffin for future assets and then boom, we would actually have a good rebuilding start right away. It also wouldn't be hard for us to go out and get another piece to put around Griffin. Either way, people need to realize that teams can radically change in 1 or 2 years. It doesn't take 3-4 years, which seems to be a realGM mantra at this point. I personally want to keep building while we develop Kennard and Doumbouya. Winning also boosts the value of every player on the team too. One or two good trades could have this team up in the top 4 with how much weaker the East is.
