Besides rebounding he gets torched regularly. Id rather see someone else get a shot he is bad.

In summary, we put a over-the-hill, less than avg power forward, next to a center who can't figure out NOT to put the ball on the floor with 2 or 3 guys on him, next to a guy at small forward who was and is an avg borderline player, next to a 2/3rd string point guard and then throw out a promising shooting guard on that lineup and complain Luke is not a starter against one of the most talented teams in the east. Lets not even get into the backups (except for Rose and Wood).

Luke Kennard has no dog in him. Rose does. If he's right he's right. If he has the shot, take the damn shot. This is your team... you trust Rose to take those shots? Why don't we trust you? Why don't you trust you?

I don't know about 'lucky'. They spent their 1st round pick on him in 2016. They saw his potential.

There's just this sense that he came out of nowhere because Casey gave him no run his first two years.

Agree. I have no idea what we have in him. Neither did Raptors fans at this point of Siakam's 2nd season. Not saying Khyri is Siakam, but there's nothing to lose by putting him in there for 10 minutes in the 2nd or 3rd quarter. Let him prove that he should be glued to the bench, if in fact he should be.

Well, it was near the bottom of the 1st round (27). So I suppose they were fortunate that no one had taken him yet. A lot of teams would love to have that pick back.

Difference is Rose is a super self confident ex MVP of the league. Kennard on the other hand is a 2 year rookie who was never given a flat out chance and deferred to the 1 on 1 talents of Griffin, another proven star. By the way, Griffin's style of play does not lend itself to solid team ball movement which Kennard plays.

Luke "never been given a flat out chance" Kennard, has 7 career DNP's coach's decision. Played the most minutes on the team in last year's playoffs. Has had his minutes trending upwards every year, and is currently 2nd on the team in minutes played this season with 29.6 per game.

The Kennard Krushers never cease to fabricate reasons why he isn't as good as they want him to be.

Hes not even bad man. Hes actually producing well but does need to get more aggressive to hit another level.

Aggression and confidence, hopefully, comes with time. If you've watched Luke since he's come into the league it's pretty night and day now vs early on as a rookie, he used to regularly pass up some pretty good looks whereas now he takes some high difficulty threes and is more comfortable driving to the lane/putting the ball on the floor.
