Hopefully this game shows the FO that paying Drummond and keeping griffin isn't the best route.

Kennard defers too much and finally balled out when Blake and Dre were not there. He needs to play like that all the time. He should take the most shots per game on this team. Grow an ego.

Kennard and Rose have the most offensive talent on the team, and should get the most shots unless Blake gets back to being 100%. I agree Kennard stepping back on his offensive aggressiveness with Blake and Dre in the lineup is bad for us I'm all for him getting up 20 shots a night.

People are really criticizing Kennard's aggression still? The dude isn't James Harden... Give him a break. That talking point should've died a long time ago.

He took 13 attempts against the Rockets which is right around his norm every game. But just because Griffin and Drummond are out people are going to use an anecdotal game to bring that garbage up again. Kennard's aggression has been just fine with or without Griffin/Drummond suiting up.

To be fair it’s one game, but yeah I agree if this team blows it up. I’d rather start fresh and let the young guys run around without worrying about Dre or Blake demanding touches.

Westbrook's night off, back to back and all, it was fun watching a more active squad. Blake looks like he needs a procedure before he has a chance of being a factor this season.

This team looked much more like the style of play Casey wants. I'm ready to see what Andre can bring by the deadline.

Or lets think deeper. If Drummond was there we could have won by 30!?!?

Let's think EVEN DEEPER...if the Pistons had Demar Derozan instead of Luke, could they have won by 50?

An unexpected but much needed win (...although
probably futile, even counter-productive, in the grand scheme of things?)

Hobbling Blake should've been shut down as early as 2-3 games back... Aside from having no lift & explosiveness, clearly having no legs under him severely affects even his outside shooting. Probably shouldn't come back 'til mid-January at the earliest, assuming his knee responds positively to rest & rehab.

With dRose's playing time bound to creep up into the 30s, it's only a matter of time before he also breaks down...
